Herbal garden is attached to the Dravyaguna department, having more than 200 species spread across enormous area. Aids in educating cultivation and propagation of medicinal plants.
Through herbal garden we are trying to conserve rare, endangered and threatened species of medicinal plants, along with substitutes, poisonous plant species are being maintained. Spices and aromatic plants are also given importance and for identification, practice, learning and teaching medicinal plants.
The medicinal plants grown in herbal garden are used by the hospital for treatment purpose like Nimbuka, Nirgundi, Mandukaparni, Arka, Japa, Parnayavani, Bringaraja, Agnimantha, Amalaki and many more.
